Feeding Program
The children in Denkaka, Ethiopian often struggle with malnutrition and wonder where their next meal will come from. Due to the generous giving of our donors, we have been able to implement a feeding program. While the children have been provided a snack during tutoring in the past, we have begun to provide a full meal once a week for all 50 children in our program. We hope to expand on the program, offering meals to the children up to 5 days a week in the coming months.
Meskeron’s House
One of the children in the village, Meskeron, lives in very poor living conditions. The mission team in April 2018 decided to bless her and her family with an addition onto her home. The addition tripled the size of their current living conditions, as well as added a door and window to replace the fabric barrier between them and the outside world. This blessing was possible because of the generous giving of the mission team and their hard work to finish the project in a short amount of time.
Kiflu’s House
One of the children in the village, Kiflu, lives in very poor living conditions. The mission team in March 2018 decided to bless him and his family with a new living structure on their land. The structure doubled the size of their current living conditions, as well as added a door and window. This blessing was possible because of the generous giving of the mission team and their hard work to finish the project in a short amount of time.
