Safe Arrival

After 25 hours of traveling I arrived safely in Addis Ababa. I was met at the airport by my Ethiopian sons. It was a great reunion with them. Hana had a room ready for me in their two room dwelling. She had a bed with clean sheets and blanket all ready for my comfort....

It is Friday afternoon and I am half packed for my trip. I leave on Tuesday and am so excited to see my Ethiopian family. They have been a part of my heart for the past 5 years. Enough money was raised to be able to fund education for 25 children for an entire year....

On May 10, 2013 an Ethiopian dinner was prepared to kick off the new organization of MADIE Ministries. 16 people attended the dinner and sampled the variety of different foods that are commonly eaten in Ethiopia. Enjera was a new taste for everyone in attendance....
